On 6th December 2025, the Department of Economics, Unity College organised a talk series on the theme “Entrepreneurship Avenues in Nagaland”. The objective was to enlighten the students about the entrepreneurial skills and create self employment opportunities and to foster the students towards seeking new opportunities through innovations and skills.
The resource person for the programme was Mr. Ghani Pamei, Proprietor Makaam Sports Enterprise. He enlightened the students on taking up challenges and how local youths need to take up business enterprises in Nagaland while sharing his experiences.
At the conclusion of the session, students participated in question and answer session where they asked insightful questions about starting and sustaining ventures and overcoming challenges faced by entrepreneurs and helping each other to sustain.
