About the Department:

Established in the year 2007 with a solitary teaching faculty member, the Department of English embarked on a journey towards excellence in academia. Over the years, this humble beginning has flourished and grown into a vibrant academic community, boasting seven dedicated faculty members who epitomize the spirit of academic rigor and innovation.

At the department’s core is a commitment to continuous learning. We participate in a myriad of academic events, including Faculty Development Programs, Seminars, Webinars, and Workshops at various levels, enriching faculty knowledge and sharing insights with the broader academic community. Beyond classrooms, we foster well-rounded individuals who excel academically and apply knowledge in real-world scenarios. Our students participate in Inter-College, District, State, and National Level Competitions, showcasing talents and honing skills. Experiential learning is vital; students organize Exposure and Study Trips, broadening horizons.

Our proudest achievement is consistent academic success, with a commendable pass percentage of approximately 95%. Many graduates pursue Higher Education or engage in Research Works, testifying to the quality of education provided by the Department of English.
