Report on Talk/Lecture series
On 5th October 2024, Department of Economics organised a Talk/Lecture Series on the Theme “Entrepreneurship Avenues in Nagaland”. The resource person was Mr. Atsung Sangtam, Co-founder and COO Placetree, Dimapur. He stressed on the Socio-economic development, creating values through innovations which is the essence of Economic Growth and Employment Generation. He also emphasised on emerging sectors like E-commerce, Handicrafts and Eco-tourism to harness local resources, tradition and creativity. Altogether 53 students from the Department participated and an interactive session was held where students took an active participation. 55 students from the Department attended the programme.
