The book release programme of the Proceedings of the ICSSR sponsored National Seminar, Department of Political Science (3rd and 4th  May 2023) was held on 8th April 2025 at the Conference Room, Unity College under the initiative of the Research and Development Cell, Unity College.

The book was released by Shri. M. Patton, IAS (Retd), Chairman, Managing Board in the presence of R&D Cell members, Faculties from the Department of Political Science and HODs of various Departments, as well as the Principal of UCTE, Dr. Akala Longkumer. In the opening address, Dr. Lichumo Enie, Principal, Unity College congratulated the individuals and committees in the successful release of the proceedings. Dr. Lanusangla, Publisher, Heritage Publishing House, and Shri M. Patton, IAS (Retd), stressed on the importance of exploring deeper into the role of CS. The end remarks made by the esteemed speakers collectively echoed the need to undertake the study on the roles played by various stakeholders of the state  a notch higher.
