The Department of History organized a screening for the BA 2nd, 4th and 6th Semester History Major Students to celebrate “World Heritage Day 2025” on the theme “Heritage under Threat from Disasters and Conflicts: Preparedness and Learning from 60 Years of ICOMOS Actions.” The programme was organized to spread awareness regarding the significance of World Heritage Day that encourages prevention of cultural, architectural and natural landmarks. Highlighting the role of communities in heritage conservation in order to protect our past to inspire a better future. World Heritage Day reminds us of the beauty of culture and history that must be preserved for future generations.
