Unity College hosted its annual youth fest Unifest 4.0 on the 12th and 13th of March 2025, under
the theme “Invigorating Young Minds”, bringing together a vibrant showcase of talent and
creativity. The event featured a range of competitions like Slam Poetry, Extempore, Art,
Indigenous Cooking, the Mega Model Hunt, and the much-anticipated 10th edition of Voice
Hunt which was graced by former winners of the series. Over the years, winners of these
competitions have gained significant exposure, propelling them onto larger platforms not only
within Nagaland but also beyond, opening doors to new artistic and professional opportunities.
The competitions were judged by distinguished Naga personalities who have made remarkable
contributions in their respective fields.
Unifest 4.0 serves as a dynamic platform for emerging talents, while also playing a crucial role in
promoting local artists, designers, and performers, strengthening the cultural and artistic
landscape of the region. The event was graced by renowned artists, judges, and designers like
Keneisenuo Sorhie, Coffee & Zayie, Anonymous Jamir, Abdon Mech, Meyisanen Lemtur, DJ
CJ, Savizo, Chef Aketoli Zhimomi, Chef Limasunep Walling, Lamgrace Touthang,
Photographer Achano Tungoe, Dr. Alemmenla Walling, Hito Kiho, Talikaba Longkumer, and
reigning Miss Northeast, Kenei Ritse. The contestants of Mega Model Hunt showcased apparels
and jewelries from fashion labels such as studio_of_gen, Sds Bespoke, kl khovai couture,
Ajothpaokhodesigns, vivi_design, Piusan, ilot_design, Shoiang W-jewelry, Saron’s Handmade,
and make-up artist Nilokali Kinimi.
