The Department of Commerce initiated six-week long skill development courses (Government sponsored) for the students of all streams in the month of January. These courses were offered in association with Nagaland Tool Room and Training Centre, Dimapur. Various courses offered to the students were: Cooking of local cuisine, Plumbing tools and fitting, Post harvest management of fruits and vegetables, Natural fibre processing & handicraft making, and Bamboo utility handicrafts assemble.
