Eco club Unity College celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June by adopting the theme for 2024# Land Restoration, Desertification and Drought Resilience. As an effective response to the theme, planting of 30 tree saplings at the State Stadium Dimapur was organised involving 21 club members and 5 teachers in charges. The saplings were donated by the Department of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Dimapur and include flowering plants like Lagerstromia speciosa and varieties of Caesalpi.
