Eco Club, Unity College under the theme “Exploring the Mountain Ranges of Nagaland” took 28 members for camping and exploring the mountain ecosystems of Puliebadze and Mt. Japfϋ from 7th to 8th March 2026. This trip helps students connect with our culture and encourage conservation of mountain ecosystems. On 7th March, the students explored the “Puliebadze Wildlife Sanctuary” in Jotsoma village, set up a sign board and donated two aluminium waste bins to encourage conservation and avoid littering. On 8th March, the students took up a trekking journey from Jotsoma village to Mt. Japfϋ, to observe the community conserved forest and the mountain ecosystems.
