PG Industrial Visit

As part of the academic curriculum, the post-graduate program (MCOM 3rd Sem) of the Dept. of Commerce undertook an industrial visit to Lengree Tea Estate, a renowned tea estate located in Karbi Anglong, Assam on 28th of September 2024.

The objective was to gain practical insights into the tea production process, understand the industry’s best practices, and appreciate the challenges faced by the tea industry. The students learned about the whole process of tea manufacturing which was demonstrated by the Manager, starting from plucking of leaves to the packaging of the finished product.

Altogether, 2 faculty members and 14 students went for the visit.
