Internal quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) Unity College in Collaboration with Sapient Finserv  organized Awareness programme on “Health Insurance” for teaching & Non-teaching Staff on 21^st August, 2024. The Resource Person of the program was Mr. Jatin Das, Head of Health Insurance and Motor Insurance. The main objective of the program was to educate participants about the importance, and its benefits. The resource person has highlighted the importance of Heath Insurance & motor Insurance. Some of the points highlighted:

1. Covers medical expenses during illness or hospitalization
2. Reduces financial burden on families
3. Importance of early enrolment
4. Rising healthcare costs and need for protection
5. Mandatory as per law (especially third-party insurance)
6. Covers damages due to accidents
7. Protects against financial loss

The session was followed by a question-and-answer session, during which participants actively engaged with the resource person and sought clarification on various aspects of health and motor insurance.
