On 12th June 2024 the Department of Economics in collaboration with the Child Welfare Committee observed World Day Against Child Labour with the theme, ‘Let’s Act on our Commitment: End Child Labour’. The day was observed to create awareness about the hazardous effects of child labour. The resource person was Mrs. Moamenla Yaden, Chairperson, Child Welfare Committee, Dimapur.
Besides the seminar, poster and signature campaign were conducted in the college campus to observe the day.
