On 18th March 2023, the Department of Economics paid a visit to KONGER AGRITECH Pvt.Ltd Aoyimkum which is a mushroom cultivation and processing enterprise/unit run by Dr. Sosang Longkumer (Director). The Objective of the visit is to learn the activities of mushroom cultivation and its role in supporting the local economy by contributing to subsistence food security, nutrition, medicine also generating additional employment and income in local, regional and national trade.
Altogether 25 students along with two faculties underwent for the visit.
