Unity College Dimapur organized its Annual Sports Meet from 29 to 30 January 2026. The two-day event, held at the DDSC Stadium witnessed a variety of competitions. The teams were formed, consisting of students from Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and B.Ed. The five participating teams were Bourbon, Dover, Panama, Phoenix, and Windsor.

During the inaugural ceremony, Dr. Akala Longkumer, Principal UCTE, exhorted the students by describing the playing field as a vital extension of the classroom. She encouraged the students that winning fosters confidence, while defeat builds resilience, eventually driving holistic excellence. The Oath Taking was led by Moung Lemla, UCPGSC, Sports Secretary, followed by the Torch Lighting Ceremony.

Students competed in various indoor and outdoor sports and games like arm wrestling, basketball, cricket, football, high jump, javelin throw, long jump, penalty shootout, races, shot put, table tennis, tug of war and volley ball.

Unity College Sports Meet culminated with prize distribution. Team Dover was declared as the overall champion, and Team Phoenix was adjudged the Best Disciplined. The Best House Flag went to Team Dover and Team Phoenix respectively. The vote of thanks was delivered by Thungjanthung Khenchung, Sports Secretary UCSC.
