Report on One Day Workshop on “ Mushroom Cultivation for Sustainable Livelihood’.

On 5th October 2024, Environmental Science Department, Unity College, organized an Intercollegiate One Day Workshop on “ Mushroom Cultivation for Sustainable Livelihood” with resource person and trainer, Mr. Limtsaba T Sangtam, proprieter, LNJ Mushrooms and Asst. Prof., Environmental Science, Unity College. The workshop had two sessions, first session was a presentation on methodology of Oyster mushroom cultivation and second session included hands-on training on preparation of mushroom spawn bags. The first session was chaired by   Dr Kikruneino Sachu, Head, Environmental Science Department, followed by presentation by the workshop resource person. In the second session, the students learnt the step wise preparation of mushroom bags. A total of 23 students from 7 college participated in the workshop.
