On October 1, 2025, the National Service Scheme and National Cadet Corps successfully conducted a cleanliness drive at Duncan Tinali Bazaar and the road stretch connecting Dhobi Nalla to DC court in Dimapur, as part of the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ 2025 campaign. In line with the directives from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, the event was themed ” Swachhotsav” and aimed to promote cleanliness, waste management and community responsibility among NCC cadets, NSS volunteers and the local community. The collected waste was subsequently disposed of at the DMC Dumping ground, Sunrise colony Burma Camp.
