The Department of Computer Science, Unity College, visited NIELIT Dimapur on 28th March, 2025. The students were given a tour of the NIELIT campus and various machineries like 3D printers and explained how CAD(Computer-aided Design) and CAM (Computer-aided Manufacturing) software are used in enhancing traditional handloom.

A short seminar was held briefing about NIELIT and the various courses it offers, followed by a presentation on the topic, “Cybersecurity”. An application called ICSAS, which was developed by the NIELIT Kohima members, was also shared and promoted.

Altogether, 11 students and 2 faculties took part in the field visit.
