Young Indians (Yi) Club

About the club

Young Indians (Yi) is an integral component of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), a non-governmental, non-profit organization driven and managed by industry leaders, actively contributing to India’s developmental journey. Established in 2002, Yi embarked on a mission to provide a platform for young Indians to contribute towards the realization of a developed nation.

With a robust presence comprising 37 chapters and approximately 1,837 direct members, Yi engages with over 10,500 students through ‘Yuva’ chaupals. Its membership demographic encompasses young, progressive individuals aged between 21 and 40, including entrepreneurs, professionals, and achievers from diverse backgrounds.

Yi’s vision, “To Become the Voice of Young Indians Globally,” underscores its commitment to empowering young Indians to actively participate in and contribute to India’s growth trajectory. It serves as a conduit for young individuals to engage with and contribute to the nation-building process, thus playing a pivotal role in shaping the country’s future.

Yi’s endeavors are structured around three primary focus areas: “Youth Leadership,” which aims to cultivate leadership qualities and foster a spirit of innovation among young Indians; “Nation Building,” which involves initiatives geared towards addressing societal challenges and promoting inclusive growth; and “International Engagements,” which seeks to facilitate global collaborations and exchanges to further India’s interests on the global stage.

Through its multifaceted initiatives and collaborative efforts, Yi endeavors to harness the potential of young Indians, driving positive change and contributing towards the advancement of the nation’s socio-economic landscape. As a dynamic platform for youth empowerment and leadership development, Yi continues to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders, driving India towards a brighter future.
