27th-28th March 2024: The Department successfully organized a two day National Seminar sponsored by ICSSR-NERC, Shillong, on 27th-28th March 2024, on the theme Religion and Society of North East: Exploring New Frontiers with Prof. Chandan Kumar Sharma, Tezpur University, as the keynote speaker and Dr. G. Kanato Chophy, Dibrugarh University, who delivered a special lecture.
