Report on Observance of of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Remembrance Day on 14th April 2026.

The Department of Political Science, Unity College, Dimapur, in collaboration with the Department of Political Science, Tetso College, organized a programme on the occasion of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Remembrance Day on 14th April 2026.

The programme was conducted in hybrid mode, with participants attending both offline at Tetso College and online via Google Meet. The theme of the programme was “Educate, Agitate, Organize: The Guiding Principles of Ambedkar’s Philosophy and its relevance today.”

The session featured two resource persons: Dr. C.V. Lalmalsawmi, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science, Tetso College, and Dr. Phikuto Chishi, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science, Unity College, Dimapur. Both speakers shared insightful perspectives on Dr. Ambedkar’s philosophy, emphasizing its continued relevance in contemporary society.

The event concluded on a positive note, with participants gaining a deeper understanding of Dr. Ambedkar’s enduring legacy and its significance in today’s context.
