  1. Research Experiences:
  • Participated in Pre-History Camp, Raisen, Madhya Pradesh, organised by Pre-History Branch, Nagpur, Archaeological Survey of India, from December 2010-January 2011, as part of the practical training for excavation and exploration in Pre-History. 
  • Participated in the Proto Historic Excavation at Karsola, Jind District, Uttar Pradesh from 23rd January 2011 to 20th March 2012 as part of practical training for the Post Graduate Diploma in Archaeology from Institute of Archaeology, Archaeological Survey of India. 
  • Participated in the All India tour Programme for three months (3) where all protected sites of ASI are visited and prepared a report. It was conducted as part of the practical training course for PGDA, Institute of Archaeology, Archaeological Survey of India. 
  • Participated in the Purana Quila Excavation 2013-14, Archaeological Survey of India, Delhi Circle, and sorted and analysed the pottery as well as documentation of antiquities for the period of 2013-14. 
  •  Participated in the Structural Conservation (practical and theory) at Champaner and Pavagadh, Gujarat. Also, Chemical Conservation (theory and practical) at Dehradun Chemical Branch, Archaeological Survey of India, as part of the training course for PGDA, Institute of Archaeology, Archaeological Survey of India. 
  • Worked as a Research Scholar in National Mission on Monuments and Antiquities, Archaeological Survey of India, for documenting and rectifying all the listed antiquities, monuments and buildings of national importance. Prior to this, worked as an Excavation Report writing Assistant at Rakhigarhi Section for Dr. Amrendra Nath in Purana Quila, Excavation Branch II, Archaeological Survey of India for 4 months. 
  • Worked as a Research Associate on contractual basis in National Mission on Monuments and Antiquities, Archaeological Survey of India posted to Guwahati Circle for documentation of built heritage/sites and antiquities of Northeast from September 2014 to September 2015.

  • Participated in a National Seminar, titled Rock Art of Northeast: Methodological and Technical Issues, organised by IGNCA in collaboration with Department of History & Archaeology, NEHU from 5th– 6th October, 2016 and presented a paper titled “The Memorial Stones or Monoliths as Rock Art and its stipulation.” 
  • Participated in a National Seminar titled Geology. Geochemistry, Energy and Mineral Resources of Northeast India, organised by Department of Geology, Nagaland University 9th-11th November, 2016. 
  • Participated in International Seminar itled International Seminar on Field Archaeology, organized by Department of Archaeology, University of Kerala, 16th – 19th January, 2017 and presented a paper titled ‘The Preliminary Studies on the Archaeology of Mizoram.’

  • A research paper was published titled ‘The Memorial Stones or Monoliths of Mizoram as Rock Art’ and its stipulation in the Rock Art: Heritage of Northeast India edited by Bansi Lal Malla and Tilok Thakuria and published by IGNCA in 2019 (pp. 107-114). 
  • A Research paper titled “A Preliminary study on the Prehistory of Mizoram with special reference to Champhai District” (jointly with Dr. Shyam Singh), the research paper presented in the National Seminar was asked by the organizers to be given a final edit for publication. Therefore, the article was finalized with the research scholar as the First author for publication (in press).
  • A research paper was published titled ‘Rock Engravings and Indigenous Art of Champhai District, Mizoram’ in South Asian History, Culture and Archaeology Vol. 1, No. 2, 2021 (pp. 133-145).
  • A research paper titled An archaeological study of the burial of the Mizo, Mizoram is still under preparation.
  • A joint research paper with Prof. Shahida Ansari is still under preparation titled A case study of Heritage preservation and innovation with the implementation of NEP2020 under NU.
