7 October, 2023:
The department conducted Inter College Dimapur – Chumukedima District Debate Competition on the topic ‘Uniform Civil Code.” Six Colleges participated in the competition. The first prize was bagged by Dimapur Government College, 2nd by S.D. Jain Girls College and 3rd by Unity College.
Unity College is recognized by the Government of Nagaland vide notification No. HTE/5-3/2002 dated 11th Dec. 2007 and is permanently affiliated to Nagaland University vide notification No. NU-CDC/C-52-2007-2801 dated 12th Sept. 2012.
