About the Department

The Department of Vocational Studies was established in the academic year 2018-2019. An MOU was signed in 2019’ with National Council of Vocational and Research Training (NCVRT) to conduct varied extensive Developmental Training Programs in Unity College.

With an excellent experienced team of four training faculty, we offer exclusive Leadership and Personality Development Program and Computer Application  Program.  Established in an academic institution, we aim to create an intersection between multidisciplinary academia and our purview.

This  PG / Diploma program at Unity College  is a new age, forward thinking organization that celebrate effective communication, art of thinking enhancing  participants  strength to build  great relevant  leadership skills. Equips essential computer literacy and office software  required to create empowered people to  excel in technology driven workplaces of the future. Our programs exposes participants to cutting edge leadership strategies, practices and tools, receives coaching opportunities to leverage these next-level practices to achieve career and organizational fulfillment.

The transformative programs under Vocational Studies are designed to build great leadership skills. As people ascend to new levels of management, it is critical that one prepare for transition whether big or small, learn new ways of thinking to achieve influence in the new age.
We are not confined to books and theory, we believe in learning to learn as we commit to make learning seamless and effortless through creative ideas, non-traditional teaching and coaching ethical leadership in people who will relentlessly communicate, ask important questions, initiate tough conversations and impact organizations and society addressing the grand challenges of the State, Country and the World by developing the most cross-disciplinary knowledge and Leadership Skills.

I’ve also started being mindful of etiquettes like corporate dressing etiquette, modest dressing, tableanners which Iam practicing at he now. Learned correct pronounciation and phonetics for effective communication. I never thought of developing reading habit, but from the sessions I learned how how important it is for my all round growth. And now I am intentionally developing reading habit to gather more knowledge which helps me better my presentation skills”.

“To be honest, I did not take it seriously in the beggining since it is not an academic course. But, this training sessions has helped me how to conduct oneself, practice social grace, and not fearing to smile as it encouraged us to expressing myself. Practiced phone etiquette, became aware of my areas of improvement and appreciate my strength at the same timed. Sometimes the training gets tough, it’s not easy but that helped me gain a better growth perspective that made me learn classrom behavioural. It has surely impacted my personal life and I have been progressing in maintaining healthy diet while being kind to self and mindful during seasons of celebrations where in ocassions I allow me a cheat day”.

I do better presentation, practice gratefulness better, social graces, improved perspective and regulate emotions. I also learned the importance of relationship with parents”.
