The Department of English collaborated with the Department of English, Eastern Christian College for an Inter-Collegiate Literary Confluence under the theme- “Words in Motion” on 27th February 2026 at the Multi Purpose Hall of ECC.
Students of both Colleges delivered powerful performances comprising of drama, Poetry Slam and Declamation. From thought provoking scripts to stirring verses and commanding speeches, every performance reflected confidence, creativity and artistry. The event demonstrated the power of words put into motion through artful performances.
In the poetry composition contest, Mongnen A Noklang, Melongzenla and Sonouleela L Chang of BA 2nd Semester, Unity College bagged the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd position respectively.
