In Collaboration with North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR), the IQAC, Unity College organized an Interactive Session on 25th April, 2024, at Seminar Hall, Unity College. The main objectives of the session was briefing on Career guidance, Courses offered and Job opportunities in the field of Social work. Resource Person of the session was Ms. Gwanyile Julia, PRO, NEISSR, and accompanied by Ms.Tsulula K, 4th Semester, MSW, Mr. Joyba C Sangtam, 4th Semester, MSW. Gwanyile, explained the meaning of Social Work, and highlighted the importance of Social work as discipline. She further stated how the study of Social work engages the students in working towards the upliftment of the society and community. The resource person also stressed upon the opportunities in various organizations and sectors. During the interactive session, Students raise their queries and doubts regarding this institution. Altogether 48 Students from undergraduate 6th Semester attended the session.
