The Literary Committee observed World Literacy Day on 8 September 2025 under the theme “Promoting Literacy in the Digital Era” with Mr Huthuka Sumi, writer, columnist, and woodworker, as the guest speaker. He spoke on the impact of the digital era on creativity, empathy, and the importance of reading, and encouraged the students to trust their inner voice.  An interactive session followed, focusing on his book “Giants”, published by Harper Collins, and the influence of digital-age literature. The programme was attended by 11 faculty members and 55 students.
