The 7th Postgraduate Freshers’ Day was held with the theme ‘Purposive Beginning’ on 20th September 2025. Dr. Lichumo Enie delivered the Principal’s address, underscoring the significance of maintaining an active mind committed to excellence and growth, drawing parallels from everyday experiences. He emphasized the imperative of equipping oneself beyond academic pursuits by cultivating skills and nurturing resilience to navigate the complexities of the contemporary social milieu.

Self-introductions by freshers were a highlight of the event. To foster healthy competition and promote a culture of excellence, awards were given for the three best introductions. Mr. B. Onentemjen Jamir (Department of History) secured first position, followed by Mr. Rohit Yadav (Department of Sociology) in second place, and Ms. Epirhoni (Department of Political Science) in third place.
