The Department of Education, Unity College, Dimapur has successfully conducted it’s 2nd Lecture Series under the theme: “Navigating the Future of Education: Innovations, Challenges and Opportunities” on 15th February, 2025 at Seminar Hall, Unity College, Dimapur. The Resource Persons Prof. Vinoth S, HOD, Department of Education and Prof. Gowri SA, HOD, Department of Physics both from St. Joseph University, Chümoukedima has meticulously delivered their lecture on the topic: Online Learning Platform and it’s Effectiveness in Higher Education with Special Reference to ‘SWAYAM’. The resource persons explained about SWAYAM by giving a demonstration. The lecture focused on the objectives, features, scope, evaluation system and challenges of SWAYAM. 

The lecture series ended with Q&A Round where students actively participated by clearing their confusions, curiosity and enriching themselves more on SWAYAM as this online learning platform is new to them. The lecture series was an additional benefit for those 2nd semester students who has recently enrolled for MD course.
