On 24th September 2025, the NSS Unit of Unity College, in collaboration with the College of Nursing, CIHSR, observed NSS Foundation Day at the Seminar Hall, Unity College by organizing an Essential First Aid Session. The program focused on the management of severe and minor bleeding wounds and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

Detailed demonstrations were conducted on proper wound care techniques and the correct procedure for performing CPR. Participants were also provided with hands-on practice of CPR on training dummies under the expert guidance of the nursing faculty.

The session proved to be highly informative and practical, equipping students with essential life-saving skills and enhancing their preparedness to respond effectively during medical emergencies.
