On October 1, 2025, the National Cadet Corps (NCC) &  National Service Scheme (NSS) successfully conducted  a cleanliness drive at Duncan Tinali Bazaar and the nearby  road stretch connecting Dhobi Nalla to DC Court in Dimapur, as part of the Swachhta Hi Seva 2025 campaign (17th September – 2nd October 2025). In line with the directives from the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, the event was themed “Swachhotsav” and aimed to promote cleanliness, waste management, and community responsibility among NCC Cadets, NSS volunteers, and the local community. The drive was conducted in adherence to guidelines, with proper documentation and reporting. The collected waste was subsequently disposed of at the DMC dumping ground in Sunrise Colony, Burma camp.
