The Department of Economics in collaboration with Child Line 1098 Dimapur observed World Day against Child Labour with the theme “Social justice for all. End Child Labour’’. The Day is observed with an aim to raise awareness about the plight of children in around our society and to make efforts to eliminate the practice of child labour. The resource person Ms. Lozua Kape Centre Coordinator, Child Line Dimapur emphasized on different aspects/areas of which child labour is categorized. She also stressed on the rise of the practice which is prevalent in our society context and effort to end it. Altogether 40 students, 3 faculties and 3 team members from Child Line attended the programme.
